Hi Jeffrey,
Apr 26, 2017 If you are seeing the ‘Microsoft Excel cannot open or save any more documents because there is not enough available memory or disk space‘ error, this might be misleading and the cause is likely nothing like what the error message says. In fact, it’s most likely.
As per the issue description you are getting an error message not enough memory when you are trying to attach a Excel file in Outlook email window. Let me assist you with the issue.
In order to assist you with the issue I need some details:
Does this issue occur only attaching a particular Excel file or any Excel file?
Do you get the similar error message when you open Excel or any Excel file?
What are the other issues that you are facing with other Office applications?
You have even stated that you get this message even after closing Outlook and when Excel is not even opened, hence I would suggest you to check if Excel is running in the background or multiple times.
Step 1:
Open task manger and end Excel.exe process. Follow the steps below:
1. Let us press the Ctrl + Alt+ Delete key -> Click on Task Manager to open.
2. Under Processes tab -> Select Excel.exe -> Click on End Process.
Step 2:
Run the online repair of Office 2013 as mentioned in the following link:
Step 3:
19740 Downloads. Kitchen Island w/ Sink and Dishwasher. Login or Join to download. I revised what Chilimac had uploaded. This is a kitchen island that has a bar with stools and a sink and dishwasher. Product Version: Revit Architecture 2009. 76809 Downloads. Modern Kitchen Island. Login or Join to download. Just a quick island I made for a project.
If the above steps fails, start the computer in clean boot and check if the issue persists, refer the link below to know on how to start the computer in clean boot:
Note: Ensure to restart the computer to normal mode once the troubleshooting is completed.
Let us know the result.
Thank you.
For some strange reasons if you are getting “Microsoft Excel cannot open or save any more documents because there is not enough available memory or disk space” error while opening Excel 2019 or 2016/2016 or Office 365 documents from local disk or Outlook attachment, here is the working solution fix it. This will work on most of the Windows Operating Systems including Windows 10, 8.1 or Windows 7 since this is related to Excel problem/settings.
Unfortunately, the error message will not make any sense. Your PC will have enough disk space in C or D drive and memory while opening these Excel files. Do not go by the error message. Mostly these Excel files will have some kind or complicated formulas, calculations, or external resources inside the Excel sheets, therefore the security settings in Excel will prevent opening these files and throw an irrelevant error message.

How to Fix Microsoft Excel Cannot Open or Save….Not Enough Available Memory or Disk Space Issue in Excel 2013/2016/2019/Office 365
As said earlier, this is something to do with the built-in security settings of Excel 2019 or 2016/365. Follow these simple steps to troubleshoot the issue.
1) Create a new Excel file, then go to Options from File Menu.
2) Open Trust Center Settings as shown below.
3) Under the Trust Center settings, uncheck the all checkboxes in Protected View as below.
This setting will allow the Excel file to open without any security errors or warnings like “Microsoft Excel cannot open or save any more documents because there is not enough available memory or disk space”. Once you pressed OK and applied the settings, now open the same Excel file which used to give the error, that should open without any problems now. This method used to help me to fix the problem at my workplace especially when the user tries to open the Excell attachment from Outlook.
